After the release date for Tekken 7 was officially announced a few weeks ago, the entire gaming community has been abuzz in anticipation for the final chapter of the best-selling fighting game franchise of all time. With all the excitement, it’s been hard to figure out just what to do with ourselves until the game is out on June 2nd. Do we go back and dust off the ps3 to brush up on our skills on Tag 2? Do we revisit some of our favourite Tekken’s of olde? Or do we simply sit at home and watch endless YouTube videos on the arcade builds of Tekken 7?

Well finally, we have an answer for you because we at MBA are extremely happy to announce that we will be part of the official Tekken 7 UK championship.

The Tekken 7 UK championship is a pre-launch tour that will be happening all across the UK and Ireland featuring the latest version of Tekken 7 on the PS4. This build will feature all the latest characters and stages. Master raven? Bob? Lee? Yes, they are all available to play to your hearts content, exclusively at all the tour events.

The Championship tour will consist of 5 qualification tournaments spanning across all regions. The 5 qualification events are as follows with details of each event on the links below:

Our event at MBA will be hosted at our usual monthly venue of Arcade Club (Ela Mill, Cork Street, Bury BL9 7BW) on the newly opened second floor. So, this is definitely an event you cannot afford to miss!

All qualification tournaments will be FREE to enter. The top 3 placers from each regional event will be invited to take part in the Tekken 7 UK championship grand finals which will be taking place on the excellent ESL e-sports arena stage at the MCM London expo on the 26th May. Not only will the qualified players receive free entry to the MCM expo but they will also be competing for the prestigious UK championship Belt! Find details of this event at

      1. Hi, admin says: I just would like to know if you how could I get there from central Manchester or piccadly or which bus should I take to take part on this tournament because I am extremely hyped to play the on the tournament and hopefully become a champion? Also would we able to have time to practice for bit before the tournament start? Thanks my regards

  1. Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.|

    1. Yes you can come as a visitor but you still must pay for the venue entry fee. Casuals are available however tournament takes priority

      1. If you have a converter then yes, if you don’t then you will have to use a PS4 controller. Brook converters are allowed however Chronus Converters are banned.

  2. Caaan’t wait for this! I won’t be playing but I’ll definitely be there spectating. I don’t know if you already planned to but you should stream this on Twitch too!
